Except: these do not work with un-modified twist-grip sifters: they won't fit around the bends. The ends sweep forward in a nearly 180 degree curve, and whole curved area is usable to vary pressure points on your hands. By a fairly simple modification ot the shiftier, however they can be made to fit.

Bars survived and need a new steed. These are much better than straight bars with bolt-on bar ends. Frame was long ago beaten in a duel with Mercedes 500 SLE.

They weigh less than the handlebars alone on typical mountain bike or hybrid, and give lots of hand positions. Great for commuting or touring as they give lots of hand positions, and can grab outsides pulling on when climbing like bar ends just over 21 wide, outside. Some road rash on one side but just cosmetic.

Originally used on a 1992 Fuji mt ltd for touring.
