Details:

The clamp and head pieces are of cast aluminum which painted black, mounted on a heat treated Crow Molly steel tube section. 0mm, and 27. 6mm xt post is 321 grams. The lower clamp piece is cast aluminum with a hole drilled through middle for fastening bolt to reach up upper.

Finish is worn in a couple spots see pics. The upper clamp piece is cast and threaded for fastening bolt to anchor. The weight of a 26. The head piece is cast aluminum, hollowed on bottom slightly, with knurls top, providing a textured surface for clamp assembly to seat.

With the clamp perpendicular to tubing section, of rail end tube length is 327mm. These were supposedly made by nitro from bike pro: the xt post is Shimano beefy mountain bike that uses a traditional micro-adjusting design even though its unconventionally styled. The head piece is pressed into Crow-Molly steel tubing section to a depth of securely joining two pieces. The lower clamp piece also has of full contact to bottom saddle rail.

There is an oblong hole milled through the head piece making a variable base for clamps to rock on saddle angle adjustments. Each side of the upper clamp piece has inches contact with saddle rail. A steel bolt with 6mm Allen head passes up through the piece and lower clamp piece, threading into upper to hold saddle entire assembly together. The Shimano xt post is made in japan, and available in, no gouges or rust.
