Details:

To check that your speedometer head is able to turn properly, insert a small flat-blade screwdriver in the back of speedo where cable goes in, and be sure square-holed inner barrel can freely before connecting this. The collars are clean and securely attached, everything is all intact. This does not fit Arden Exercisers. The core has been cleaned and lubricated.

Cosmetically, its in clean used condition, and the plastic-coated casing is flexible throughout its length . Bicycle speedometer cables usually break because the head has seized up from years of storage. Just install it and off you go. This is a Huret speedometer part.

This is not for Stewart-Warner speedometers. Replacing the cable will not free up speedo head; it simply break new as soon you start pedaling. This fits Schwinn Exercisers XR-4 through XR-8.
