I finally came to the realization that I will feel better knowing that someone is getting enjoyment out of it, than having it hang in my garage. The bike is in good shape for its age. I purchased this bike from a close friend in the original Auburn design top tube bends down before the seat post tube. I added it in 2000 to give me a little more distance from the handlebars.
The worst area is at the back of the chorally frame where the top tube meets the aluminum works link. I replaced the tech 77 brake lever and grips a few weeks ago to help the bike sell.
