Details:

Schwinn approved rubber comfort grips. These are the soft old ones this is a stock item removed from a 1972 Schwinn suburban five speed bicycle. With soap and water only I used a sponge and tooth brush to clean the grime off. Very faint scuffing, white paint, gum in some crevices.

No levers marks. With a proper cleaning these could look like new. The bike came to me in very good condition throughout.

I stopped there and did not attempt to remove any rusting or corrosion that may or may not exist, so many of these parts will clean up even better with a little more effort. This sale is for the grips only. No cuts or blemishes.
