As can be seen in the photos, fork-mounted bracket and magnet holder are faded from sunlight. As with so many cycling accoutrements of french origin, one might consider it unique or quirky depending on ones preferences, interest and the degree to which is an aficionado. The pair of Duracell batteries powering unit is new, and they are included.

The computer head slides on and off fork mounted bracket. Although this fork mount cycling computer continues to function, I am of the view its only real appeal is for collectors interest. It stems from 1985 when electronic cycling computers were in their toddlers stage of development. The wheel magnet is particularly interesting, as even for its day it was still rather cumbersome.

The instruction manual is included, but unfortunately devices box was discarded a couple decades back. I purchased it new more than thirty years ago, and used for on a Mercia to ride. A word of note, the clamp that fixes mounting bracket to fork blade is only made fit steel bladed forks are not oversized. However, it was effective.

It has a single view LCD screen, which displays speed, trip distance and total. Once the bracket is mounted on fork, computer head can be adjusted via pivoting and then fixed at an angle agreeable to viewer. This Huret model was unique from its competitors of the time in that entire computer mounted to fork. As can be seen on the computers battery cover, it was even made in france.
