Pros of purchasing a 700c road bike with an 80s fork and 90s chromoly steer:

1. Vintage appeal: The bike's 80s fork and 90s chromoly steer provide a unique and nostalgic look that is sure to stand out on the road.

2. Durability: Chromoly steel is known for its strength and durability, which can make the bike more resistant to wear and tear over time.

3. Affordability: Compared to newer bikes with similar specifications, this vintage bike may be more affordable, making it a great option for budget-conscious cyclists.

4. Customizable: The bike's simple design and vintage components make it easy to customize and personalize, allowing cyclists to add their own touch to the bike.

Cons of purchasing a 700c road bike with an 80s fork and 90s chromoly steer:

1. Limited performance: The bike's vintage components may not offer the same level of performance as newer bikes with more advanced technology.

2. Comfort: The bike's older components may not provide as much comfort as newer bikes with more ergonomic designs.

3. Maintenance: Older bikes may require more frequent and expensive maintenance than newer models.

4. Safety concerns: Some vintage components, such as the 80s fork, may not meet modern safety standards.

In conclusion, the 700c road bike with an 80s fork and 90s chromoly steer is a great option for cyclists who are looking for a unique and nostalgic ride. However, it may not offer the same level of performance or comfort as newer bikes, and may require more frequent maintenance. If you are looking for a bike that is primarily for recreational use and you don't mind the occasional maintenance, this could be a great option for you. But if you are looking for a high-performance bike, it might be better to consider a newer model.

Shipping is free to the lower 48. Forks work perfect, but do have cosmetic touch ups as explained above. I am selling a nice chromoly road fork that was removed from a high end univ bonded aluminum framed road bike late 80's early 90's. The steer tube is 120mm long from the base of steer tube to the end.

The forks have spinner sci on the dropouts, and have a nice white with black splatter paint scheme. The diameter is 1 and threaded.
