A very nice piece, for use or collecting. Some slight surface rust on the bracket and bezel. Photos show everything. The housing is not plastic, but rather metal.

I would guess from the fifties, but not sure. No cable, so I am not able to test it. Photos show the true condition. Not much at all.

Vintage, though I am not sure just how old. Very nice, not dented. I see no reason why it wouldn' work. I can't guarantee it, however.
