Details:

The textured leather is still soft and supple. I've never seen another one. One of the rivets on rear plate fell out a long time ago but I had it replaced with brass rivet. Its a very comfortable saddle and classic.

Some fading of the gold finish and leather has scuffing on sides, be sure to check photos. I got this around 1989 or so from one of my teammates. It was a very comfortable saddle with the same length as seller Italian turbo but slightly wider.

After a year or so I swapped it out for rolls saved the volare another bike. This saddle would go great on any classic road bike or add some bling to fixed gear single speed even a cafe cruiser. If you search here on and other places like verbose will find that the Cinelli volare slx came in many different versions but this one is rarest, limited edition with gold plated rear plate, side emblems, colored rails. It sat in a box for long time and once while I would take back out use again on my various road bikes over the years but its been.
