Its meant for a triple, but i've also used these with good success on wide range doubles smaller rings 44 x 28, as one example. Its very clean. Theres a tiny bit of surface rust on the limit screws and clamp bolt, but otherwise its in really great shape. All bolts and screws turn just fine.
